INTRODUCTION - GOING WRONG

Being badly behaved is quite a recent thing for me, honest. I definitely didn’t start out bad - I actually wanted to be good. And I was - for a long time I was a jolly good fellow - a good worker, good partner, good father, a good friend, a good son. Then a few years’ ago, right out of nowhere, I started to go off the rails. So in a sense, you could say I’ve never looked back. Until now, that is. Because this blog isn’t meant to be merely a diary of present events; I’m going to be a bit more organised than that. I’m going to try to retrace my steps a little - see how I came to take what some people would definitely consider a wrong turning - and try to understand how that brought me here. Sounds like hard work, huh? I hope not - obviously, I’m encouraged by other blogs, by the way they’ve entertained me. And because I think mine is quite an engaging story, because I feel it’s made up of some interesting experiences - and yes, perhaps because I like to imagine I’ve a bit of a way with words – I’ve been finding the compulsion to join in and set it all down somewhere like this fairly overwhelming. I know what you’ll say: oh yeah, here we go again; yet another sad bloke having a mid-life crisis….. And perhaps you’re right. Not that I care - though, as my title suggests, I’ve been seeing this cool Lacanian chick who seems to think it’s a wee bit more complicated than that….. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves; I’m going to avoid therapeutic chit-chat for the time being, or I’ll lose readers’ interest before I’ve even got started. You’re here for dirt, not psycho-babble, I’ll be bound. What I can promise, apart from satisfying your prurience and your prejudices, are some handy tips for girls and boys. (And by this I mean real, practical stuff, like: ‘how to look good when masturbating in front of your lover/partner’, and other, similar helpful hints, especially for the self-improvers out there.)
